We are slowly building up quite a variety bill of entertainers on this forum (although most are you, Helen!). Perhaps we should do a Sunday Night at the Wamming Palladium sometime? Oh ho, yes! (Jimmy Tarbuck reference there for those of you old enough to remember).

Love the pics as I have a big weakness for 'turns'. And by the look of it, another sophisticated venue! Also love the big hair!

Didn't ITV as it was the only one in those days bring it back as Live From Her Majestys in the 80's ! Seems Like we could do Recorded At Her Wamajestys!

I'd be more than happy to volunteer for that, DD! But you'll have to give me a few in return!
Look, if you're all going to throw pies around would you mind throwing them at me!!!

They did indeed with Mr Tarbuck ("Oh ho, is that the one?") hosting. A slightly unfortunate name as it was here that Tommy Cooper died (literally) on stage.

Barely Alive from Wamajesty's sounds fun. And another excuse to use the cheesy glitter curtain!

Enter joke about "time to beat the cock" here.

Talking of retro gameshows, what was that old one that used to have Bernie the Bolt, a blindfolded fella guided by a phone-in contestant to shoot at a target. I think that's dying to be Splosh-ised; give Derek the Dolt a pie instead of a crossbow, sit an attractive young lady down as the target and see how close he can get to hitting her, with or without guidance.

If you weren't all too mean to join (with the exception of NX) you'd know that DD has already done her Shirley Temple in front of the spangly curtains on Gilly's Silly House. And very good it was too. She later got put in the stocks by Gilly for daring to sing on HER site!

The show Helen is thinking of is The Golden Shit, sorry, Shot - birthplace of a thousand catchphrases including the ill-fated "Hang on to your hollyhocks". It would make a good Splosh! game show. I sense a new thread starting...

Do I get a credit for helping with the title. DD singing was good, though it did annoy after a while that even more pies should have been used. Was shocked at the Mad Splatter's Tea Party, wonder Bill if we mention DD gets naked they might join Gilly's Silly House!
