[Messy Photo Shoots]

The next messy photography workshop at my studio will take place on Saturday 3rd August. This will be a girl/girl shoot and the emphasis will be on food fights, tit-for-tat style setups and possible something game show style. I will be booking two models to work from clothed to nude and for the first time plan to include time for attendees to shoot video if they wish.

You will need a camera - a DSLR camera or bridge camera ideally, as most compact cameras will not be able to trigger the studio lights. I have a spare DSLR camera which I am happy to let someone use for the day.

Depending who the girls are (As I may already have stuff available of them) I'd be intrested in coming down and filming everything on the day. As long as I can have the commercial rights to sell the footage once shot.

Andy, This isn't something I can give a straight yes or no to certainly at this stage. Several reasons for this - it would change how I was planing to run the workshop/event... not a big problem but something I would have to take into account. Perhaps more importantly a lot of photographers attending these sort of shoots may not feel comfortable with the idea of videos then being sold - a risk that they might be identified - even just by voice while directing the models.

All I can say is that I will keep in mind what you are asking and once I know who the models are and who the photographers are I can let you know if it may be possible and what restrictions there may be.

To anyone reading this thread and considering booking please don't let the idea of video being taken put you off. If any video is taken at this event it will be subject to certain conditions and anyone booking to shoot can be assured of anonymity.

It would never work Ian, was just testing the water to see, what result could come of it. You also have to think about the models, they're booked for you not me.

Further update on this event...
This event will be a bit special. Not only have I extended the length of the day by 1hr we (we will finish at 5pm rather than at 4pm), but for the first time at one of these messy days we will have TWO fantastic models.

The models for this event are Samantha (aka Charisma) http://purpleport.com/portfolio/samantha and KarenR http://purpleport.com/portfolio/karenr/

Both models work to adult levels and for those who wish to there will be some opportunity to shoot some images up to "uk mag" (open leg) levels. In addition to this for those who wish to shoot video that will be permissible (provided you do not include any of the other photographers on your video).

For you information the programme for the day includes 5 set ups.
1. Shaving foam pie fight (clothed to nude)
2. Custard and cream (plus a few other sweet messy items) lingerie or swimwear to nude.
3. Waitress and diner - tit for tat food fight clothed to nude
4. Slime/paint - nude
5. Ultimate mess - messiest set of the day in the form of a forfeits game. Clothed to nude.

The price for the day is £95 and this includes lunch.
