Pictures: possibly, depends on her willingness to share that with more than just a few friends and family on facebook. Puking: there'll be none of that.

This is great post MillsApparatus, your fiance looks lovely.

Living in a rented City apartment our opportunities for messy fun are limited to outdoor activity (e.g.a muddy riverbank!), but we recently went to a fancy dress party as a schoolgirl and her teacher that gave us an idea for a themed party that follows one of the threads above. Its the idea of a School Dinners event. Everyone dresses in School uniform or as a teacher/head and we serve dinners using tomato soup, runny mashed potato, beans, mushy peas, spaghetti, gravy, tomato ketchup, salad cream, rice pudding, trifle, jelly, cream, treacle/syrup and of course lashings of custard.

I think the idea of non-food items has been mentioned. Water based paper glue may wash out, but another thought is that this could be a leavers do. It is tradition here for felt pens to be used to write messages on blouses, shirts, clothes and bare skin. Then at the school gates blazers get ripped and there is the ritual pelting with flour and eggs.

We have followed forum for a few weeks and it is very lovely how nice and positive everyone always is about the models who post their pictures. We have a shot or two of us from the fancy dress party in our outfits if that is appropriate to post here - that is if i can work out how to upload it from the phone. It may help to keep this great thread going.

She'll probably do most, like 90% in a bikini, but I can probably arrange a school uniform as well.

A note on the gunge; since we're based in the US and can't easily get gunge powder, we make ours using a mix of flour and water that's been colored (classic green is a must but we do all colors), but our secret to keeping it from becoming a nightmare of clumping and glue is to add a decent amount of vegetable/cooking oil. NEVER use just plain flour/water unless you like being turned into a living pinata. The same goes for cake batter. I always add some sort of cooking oil to that before hand so it doesn't clump.

Good advice though cake batter usually has some oil or fat built into it so it doesn't clump so much.

I can't imagine anyone's going to complain about either- she's gorgeous!

Dog food definitely doesn't grab me though- personally, it's pretty high on the list of things I'd never want to splosh with... You mentioned maple syrup as well- I like the sound of that very much!

I would never use dog food, though she's fine with something sweet that LOOKS like it (I have a recipe in mind for that, and cranberry sauce with berries would work for the wet kind after it had some coloring added,) purely for comedy purposes. A few others have done stuff like that, WTF for example used "zoo slop" and "concrete", but it was just the use of coloring and usually oatmeal for texture.

We forgot Semolina and chocolate sauce from our list of school dinner favourites. ALso have you thought about cold tea, coffee and hot chocolate, would wash off but stain clothes. In the week we made pancakes and when you mentioned cake mix we thought pancake mix could be better. Will add this photo to Posting Pictures thread we have started. Nothing messy yet though.

Yup, it's a lot easier to clean up afterwards and maximizes the mess without treading R territory.

Horseradish sauce? better to use thin porridge would give the same feel if a bit lumpy. Think of it being poured slowly over her head.
