We had quite a huge pie for messy Jo when she visited, that consisted of custard, rasberry's whipped cream and some chocolate sauce if my memory serves me right. Landed with a right glug when thrown.

You could set an Angel Delight in one of those ready made flan cases, i can imagine it would be quite heavy too, so would give a real thud as it hit your face, shame you're on your own.
Maybe someone could construct a pie flinging catapult for self wammers, something like a clay pigeon trap, but obviously not that powerful as you don't want your head taken off!

I can vouch for rice pudding in a flan case. It feels lovely.
Look, if you're all going to throw pies around would you mind throwing them at me!!!

If you have access to a cash & carry you can get the McDougals catering version of Angel Delight. This mixes up with water and comes in much larger quantities. This makes fabulously heavy pies (see avatar!) but get the larger flan cases for the best effect. You can also use chocolate sponge mix (again from C&C) which is heavier still. I do like that feeling ofit 'thudding' into my face.
The only problem with the sponge flan cases is they aren't deep enough, so it is good to set something thick enough to pile high above the rim of the case. If you are after it looking good too, then decorate with spray cream so it splatters as well as stays.

Another tip
I have too admit I pinched this idea off Bill, if you are you using the larger flan caes, it might be best to put a paper plate underneath, due to the fact the flan has tends to break up when you got to lift.
This end the message from LOP Look Out Pies !!!!!! (crap or what!!)

From our Handy Hints dept....
Don't use a paper plate, use a polystyrene one (again you can get them in cash & carry). Paper plates get just as soggy as the flan case.
And get the flan case very slightly wet before you add your filling. That way it breaks up better on contact and hurts less (especially if your flan is a bit stale!). The result is exactly like being hit with a very wet, heavy sponge - namely exciting rather than painful, according to Her Outdoors - so you can throw them quite hard!
