I am sorry if the link upset you, but there is no need to leave on the strength of one item you find offensive. If we all did that on every site or every TV programme we watched they'd be nothing left. As you say, it isn't even relevant so to abandon over 51,000 posts (almost all about sploshing) for one you don't like seems a bit of an over-reaction.

Everyone is entitled to a view and you have expressed yours. To my mind leaving for that reason alone would be a mistake.

I thought that link was hilarious. I'd love to have (at least one, if not more sets of) those on my fridge! :-D

OFF TOPIC!

As you say, Etonman, we are here to discuss and enjoy wam. So the only thing wrong with Hayley's post was that it should have been labelled 'off topic'. Most of us enjoy a good laugh and many jokes and comic situations are, by nature, irreverent. Over many centuries lots of wars have been fought over religions (which no-one can prove anyway) so I would like to see all religions abolished. Ridicule is a powerful weapon to bring that about and I am delighted if I can contribute a little!

Don't know if people behind the website did it deliberatly but the search facility-website-acronym is called "search NoBS."

Well it tickled my peurile sense of humour

Makes me wonder, does one have to look for nobs, or is it some sort of tool (snicker) like a metal detector,
" I can't find find the such-and-such."
"S'ok, I'll grab me search nob and help you look."

I'll go now. It's been a long day.

p.s get well soon Bill. :D

A pity, I shall miss visiting and the plans I had to get to a meet-up, but I think Hayley's link goes too far...I'm not a religious zealot, or even a Christian (not been in a church for 30 years, apart from weddings and funerals, and have no wish to do so, there are too many hypocrites there for my liking), and, having called Richard a "gentleman in the best sense of the word" a few days ago, I guess I got that wrong too.

I thought we were here to discuss and enjoy wam, hmmm, we live and learn.

It would be ashame if you left over one-link Etonman, esp as Bill and co are trying to make it more like a pub atmosphere, so similar things do happen
in pubs.

Its normally me who upsets Bill, even when he has got mansflu!!

We all have bad days, maybe you are just experiencing one.

You're taking life way too seriously - there are far, far more offensive things littering the web (I found this link funny, and have ordered a couple of the BDSM sets!). I would have thought genuine religious belief transcended such humour, but obviously not (although personally, I'm atheist, and fully support Richard's view).
It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

Awwww don't go, Etonman.

Okay, I'm a sick bitch with a bad SOH but one post doesn't make it worth leaving - there have been dozens on here that I haven't found funny or seriouslly disagreed with, It's a forum, which by definition means a place for lots of different views and tastes.

If it helps you can punish me by naming something you'd like me to pour over myself and I'll do it (so long as it is non-poisonous and comes out - eventually).

I was going to contribute to this discussion but have deleted my own message for fear of offending people - although I do have to say I find life very easy and relaxing as an aethiest. I am also a Private Eye subscriber and I often why other people subscribe to a satirical publication if they are so easily offended they have to cancel that subscription. I found Hayley's post incredibly funny and have started ordering them as sardonic Christmas presents (!!??)

Getting back to the discussion, my old tapes of Pretty Messy Woman and Samantha Jane on the Job got left behind in an attic during one of my many moves. Would love to see them again and find out if anyone has found them yet?

We have just apprehended a pirate copy of Sammy-Jane on Ebay so perhaps the new resident started running off copies and flogging them?!

After reading the blog, I can't wait for the Greatest Hits download store to be up and running. I have a nice collection of Splosh videos (VHS) and DVDs already. I like the way that you're doing stuff that is not on DVD first.

You have already stated that you will be doing stuff from 'Juicy Pairs', which I would have put on my wish list. Other stuf on my wish list would be:

    Stuff from Messy Missies
    Luna and Louise in Flanderella
Gilly & Sammy-Jane in Messy Business
The Birthday pie fight with Sammy-Jane, Karen and Robyn from Gooey Girlies (I have this on VHS. However, the quality is slowly getting worse and worse).

Also issues of Splosh in PDF format is a flantastic idea (sorry for the pun  )

Understand that a lot of hard work is going into this and that you have been ill, but eagerly awaiting the big opening, in this Splosh's Birthday year.

LeRex and Snakescotland are both geniuses! I whole heartedly agree with ANYTHING that invovles EMMA!, Also vids from Juicy pairs, Messy missies, gooey girlies, and Sammy Jane in Messy business, as all 4 of these titles I attempted to purchase last year, only to find out there were no longer available in the USA. Patiently(really, I'm trying as best I can) waiting with great anticipation.

With luck (and frankly I'm not having much at the moment!), Luna & Louise in Flanderella, Messy Business, three sketches from Juicy Pairs and Splosh! No 1 in pdf form will be part of the opening batch of material on offer on the Hits page.

Hayley's link made me smile.

It's funny what offends people: I once posted a pic of me in my long-dead mother's old suimsuit which was still in a drawer, which earned me some abuse. Waste not want not, she would say.
