I dare say we'll only know when we get there as it's been publicised here, on UMD, on Wamchat and on Informed Consent so there's a good chance that people will just turn up anyway even if they aren't on here.

Even if it were just to end up as me and muckypup having a chinwag together, that would still make it worthwhile - at least we're having a go and giving people the chance to join in!

Hopefully, those who weren't available for this coming Saturday will make a note in their diaries (and dairies!) for the 3rd Saturday in October as the next one. With any luck, other meets won't fall too close to that date.

I've just got back from a convivial afternoon during which the discussions ranged from good mud locations through costs of WAM through methods of application (over-the-head vs body only) to the UMD site rebuild, plus non-wam-related stuff too.

In the immortal words of he of the rotating ferret on his head (if you remember Spitting Image, LoL) "not a lot", though it was encouraging that quite a number of those who have previously been (and others who hadn't) actually PMd to say they would love to come but couldn't make this one. Just one of those things on this occasion, I guess.

Things are already looking better for the 17th October meet, given the PMs.

I see Mike's meet is next up for those in the South West and South Wales - I hope those of you down there will have a good time.
