Thanks Stockingman - yes, I've just responded to VDM's PM and you were right.

For anyone else interested, the next one is scheduled to take place on the third Saturday afternoon in October (18th) in Warrington. I'll post up more details in a little while (probably a little early just yet.)

Details and reminders will be sent out automatically to those on the north-west (area 2) e-mail notification list. Details here.

Hope to see you all there!
(Will you and your g/f be joining us for a drink, too, Stocking man?)

Regards,
C_W

Doubt it as as those lovely blokes at Setanta have decided that a 5.30pm kick off for the home game versus West Brom is to be shown live on TV ....WTF hardly the biggest crowd puller makes me soooo mad that TV can fuck about with football but its all about money these days if i can ill pop in early if i get chance but will be without Caz.

Not exactly, just one of our regular 6-monthly meet-ups in a Warrington pub for a pint and a chat. No actual sploshing takes place (time and place for everything and that's not it!) but you can, of course, always make arrangements to do so with someone you meet while you're there. It's basically a 'get to know each other' session of conviviality.

Those on the e-mail notification groups (see link, below) get an e-mail reminder a month or so before the proposed date of their local meet-up, (assuming those calling the meetings have remembered to get them in sync with the automatically-delivered message system, that is!) Details will be posted up here too, of course, though that assumes that everyone is always visiting here, which may not always be the case (hence the handy e-mail reminders for those who have joined the list).

Regards,
C_W.
