Seeking Spanish mud/clay
Hello all; We're traveling through the Costa del Sol area of Spain for a few weeks, and I'm on the lookout for good mud, clay pits, etc. Our travels will take us along the coast from Cadiz in the East (By Gibraltar) through to Cartagena. Anyone ever been? I thought I'd have more luck on the Splosh forums than umd, because there's more of a Euro crowd here, but I've posted both top make sure no-one is missed.
Thanks to anyone with advice.

If you get far enough east to reach Lake Vinuela, about 15kms inland from Torre del Mar, which is about 35kms east of Malaga.
It's a reservoir with sloping edges getting ever more exposed due to insufficient rain, I stepped onto what appeared to be dry mud only to find it was a crust covering a good six inches of grey mud beneath. Biggest problem was that I wasn't prepared and didn't have anything to clean my lower legs with, otherwise I would have covered more.
It's quiet there on weekdays, weekends tend to attract picknickers and BBQs.......
