Q: Is it normal to feel bad/guilty about self wamming?

Hi all,

Just thought i'd get opinions on the above.

That's one of the reasons why I insist on votes to decide wam substances, as I feel better about it if people decide for me (the nearest thing to being gunged by someone else you might say)

That’s an interesting question though, I think the guilt part comes from what we worry about that other people might perceive as abnormal behaveiour, or that we get some sexual feeling from something that should’nt arouse any response by most peoples standards.

I guess the plus side of these forums and other sites on the net, is that you realise there are other people who want to do the same thing as you. Therefore not making you feel the outcast you originally thought you were. (ok perhaps that’s a bit strong)

It’s something like when were growing up everyone feels masturbating is wrong, but how can something that feels so good be bad? and yet we all know that nearly everyone does it. Why should that be so?.

Perhaps is a question of accepting your fettish and some people may get there easyer than others, helped by having supporting partners friends ect. Even to the point where thay are totally out and have enough confidence to do things in public, and explain themselves if questioned. Of course there is a right place and time for everything unless we wish to go around causing problems for ourselves.

So of course you should’nt feel bad about Wam, as you probally end up feeling even worse by regretting the things you wanted to but just did’nt do, or felling jellious at others who are actually doing it.

Rembember we are all individual, so you don’t have to conform to what somebody else thinks.

All this is just from my own head, so feel free to comment on anything I’ve just said.

Have Fun.

Michelle.

That was very profound Chelle, and very wise; I wish that I had said it.
The very essence of a fetish is that it is not a 'mainstream' activity and the fear that others might find out and disapprove, thus making the perpetrator feel embarrassed or guilty of his/her pleasure. One of the great advantages of a forum such as this one is the opportunity to see that one is not alone in one's desires and/or activities, and although it might be a minority interest there are many other interests that are far less well supported even though they may be regarded by the lumpen masses as more 'respectable'.
I bet there are more websites devoted to sploshing (or WAM) than there are for morris dancing!

I once read somewhere that messy fetishes are more common than others actually...

People have fetishes with beating the shit out of people, others like to strangle people while they're having sex.

What we do on our public holidays isn't anywhere near as "abnormal" as what others do. Mind you, I still like to keep it to myself (and my man). I have sort of implied to some people that I don't mind getting messy, but that's about it.
Watch out for fridges in public spaces...

You certainly shouldn't feel bad or guilty about it. Relax and enjoy it. It is obvious from the posts on this forum that you are not alone, so why feel odd?

As for always asking for suggestions...so long as people don't mind coming up with them, again there's no problem. However, I recommend you try lots of different things and find your favurites rather than have to do what people say all the time.

I use to be quiet shy    I actually was, until I started doing the stuff on stage and from then on, its grown from their. The first time I realized people really liked wam was when we use to do the Tiswas nights at Scarlets people where going mad for it. Place use to be packed.

Then i went and bought splosh 18, and from their did the shows at London with Bill and the gang.

Each to their own though, as Stacey said, not everybody goes shouting about it. I just tell everybody, it gives them nowhere to go.

regards

Actually I am guilty - and should therefore be dressed by the female members of this forum in the tackiest, most tarty clothing they can think of, made up like a complete slut - then tied to a chair and comprehensively sploshed with the messiest substances imaginable, while being told how ridiculous I look!!

Seriously neverbensploshed, you shouldn't feel guilty about about sploshing - it is a fun activity enjoyed by many, as you can see from this forum. As Hayley says, you should relax and enjoy it - and let us know how you get on.

All the best.

I'm feeling better all the time :) Thanks guys n gals

One thing i've noticed about the people in the splosh forum, is everyone's so nice.

Hmm, I somehow now have a urge to do something with cold ready brek, custard, eggs marmalade, and whatever else I hear about.

One of these days I may try one of them online messy games, would be fun to have a cruel quizmistress, and at end (with all wrong questions resulting in a gunge penalty) I need to go and gunge myself.

Failing that, if messy buckets ever becomes a real game show, can i apply to be a contestant :)
