They could go to a planet that has a mud universe-renowned for its healing properties!

Surely thanks to time travel, it would be possible to return to the period before you got messy so you don't even have to shower!

I've been trying to work out which assistant's outfits would be most fun to get messy in...Sarah Jane's 70s dungarees would fill up well and Jo Grant's suede jeans would feel nice soaked in egg. I suppose Romana's frocks would good for the formal fans. None of the Doctor's have worn anything sexy in my opinion...

Meanwhile on the question of the effect of centrifugal force on Clown Julie's boobs...I reckon their size could punch a hole in the space/time continuum. Then again they could block up couple of black holes.

Do you think its wrong that I put in a vote for myself!?!

I'd give the Dr a gunging he'd never forget!
I'd be an evil dominatrix in lots of low cut, short skirted PVC, very shiny and tight! I'd fight him with food and he'd have to wrestle me to the ground and roll me around in custard!
I think I would stand a chance of winning and taking over the universe!

PS. Come to think of it, I don't think I would be a very good assistant as I would like to gunge him up, rather than be nice to him! I'd wear too much make up and be too tarty looking for an assistant anyway!

Do I think it is wrong you voted for yourself, Clare?

Morally wrong, but not surprising!!

I voted for someone else, but then I couldn't commit myself to a long term TV series at the moment as I fear being typecast and want to explore other avenues or maybe a return to live legitimate theatre such as Shakespeare where I can be more at one with my audience which is really what it's all about at the end of the day, luvvie.

What about Leila's jungle outfit!:)
Do any of you remember Ace--Sylvester McCoy's companion. She went swimming with her clothes on at least three times--once while she wore a school uniform!

Ace is pretty much how I dress normally when in in-betweenie mode (skirt, leggings and leather jacket), before I became employed and got all respectable like (ahem) I dressed like that pretty much all the time.

The closest thing I remember to Ace swimming in a school uniform was when she did it in a 1940's dress and cardie at the end of the Curse Of Fenric (OK, I admit it, I'm a Who nerd), the other two occasions I can think of her going in the drink were jumping into a river with the Doctor to escape a couple of Cybermen and being trapped in a slowly filling watertank (this is most often seen in the outake where she had to be yanked to safety when Slyvester McCoy noticed the glass is about to give way under the pressure).

Zoe (2nd Doctor) used to wear a very nice shiny catsuit that would have been great for wamming in.
Kind regards, Spinynorman and Frilly

There was an episode involving Morgan le Fay (of King Arthur) coming to modern day England, and Ace went swimming in that one. In fact, I seem to record she got mistaken for the Lady of the Lake!
The Curse of Fenwic is a real favorite. Not only do you see her wet, you see a few other girls wet.

I wouldn't vote for myself, there's superstition in it! I like the idea of me Hayley and Miss Hellen raiding the wardrobe for costumes a plenty!

ahhh what a discussion!

Yes, the costume-play would be terrific, and I'd be happy to try them all out by swimming in them.

I'm loving the Who Nerd stuff (really!). I'm afraid I missed out on the McCoy series cos I was getting a bit bored with it by then. If I'd known about tthe wetlook I'd have hung on! I should remember Zoe's catsuit, or at least Bill should, but I don't. I do remember the Cybermen's sidekicks (were they Robomen?) wore full rubber gear! Early seminal influence!

Of course I remember Leela's loincloth! I have the legs for that if not the bust!

Shouldn't the next Doctor be female? A nice fem-dom character?

Oh, and anyone for an Avengers thread???

In the interests of equality, political correctness and keeping the pie-ce, I think the next Dr should be Miss Helen.

That works for me. Gives a whole new meaning to "TV's Dr Who". Might you the fight for the best outfits with the assistant would be immense.

Hayley

PS I rather like men in kilts, but not Frazer Hines. He was a little wimp.
