Definatley not something to eat, but feels very nice and is easy to remove. I've even used cheap powdered laundry detergent but make sure it's all mixed VERY well. I use a power drill with an industrial paint mixer attachment, you can mix HUGE amounts of thick gunge very quickly. Just keep your fingers out of the spinny part! LOL
