Faster way for treacle to be watered down

Postby carsman » 06 Aug 2011, 16:12

Hello everyone,

Im having a huge treacle session soon and I done this before but it takes DAYS to water down lots of treacle to wash away, does anyone have any help to make this faster.

I never water it down until I have finished with it as its less slimy and messy when watered down, so I never water it down until its ready to be cleaned.

I normally use 4 buckets of water to one bucket of treacle and then its thrown down sink or on garden to sink away.

Any help would be great!

Hot water helps. But strictly speaking you aren't meant to put treacle down the public drains, especially in huge quantities.

Hayley

I am glad you are up to date with the water by-laws (says the person who was almost sued for blocking a sewer with cold-set custard after an event in London!)

:P
