Two Litres of Mess

Postby jaffajape » 21 Feb 2011, 18:18

I just thought i'd post this recepie I tried out in a session today - it is all 'sweet' stuff, but the texture feels very dirty

You will need a 2 litre measuring jug (mine was cheap from Wilkos)

Into this put:

1) 250ml of whisked 'instant whip' - instructions will say 300ml of milk, but I used just 250ml to thicken it further
2) 1 tub (between 450g and 500g) of plain yoghurt
3) 1 tin of microwave-heated rice pudding
4) 2 more tubs of flavoured yoghurt (the flavoured stuff usually has bits of fruit in)
5) 1 microwave-heated tub of fresh custard (I imagine the tinned stuff would also do - I just happened to pick up the fresh stuff along with the yoghurt)

Mix thoroughly!

And pour :-)

-

What was great about this mix was that the hot rice pudding and custard, mixed in with the cold yoghurt and whip, gave an overall warm temperature to the mix, which had a think and lumpy texture, with a good taste too.

Here's a few pics of the end result:
