Primark - The Sploshers Outfitters?

I know in tight times (okay stop lacing the corset so tight!) that money is sometimes short ...

But lately been rummaging around Primarks around the North now there is a lot of tat in there and it tends to fall apart after 1 or 2 wears a lot of the time ... but hey perfect for sploshing outfit construction and deconstruction!

Dresses for £10 Miniskirts for £3 leggings for £2 tights for a £1 etc etc

And the best spot this week they seem to have a small range of ladies pvc macs on sale in various colours for about £15 .....

Totally agree. Tescos are another good sourch of cheap, easily destroyed clothes too.

Yep, we like primark. Its not that bad quality for the price. And everything we've bought from there has cleaned up nicely, too.

Most shops don't seem to care as long as they get the cash in the till these days ... though there are still some snobbish shop assistants out there who don't seem to understand the concept of customer service ...

I was amused when New Look - rather than worrying why a fat ugly 50 plus bloke was buying women's clothing - offered me a store card!

Me go to Primark - how very, very dare you! Actually I would but there isn't one near me. Will have to find the nearest, especially if there are macs on offer!

LucindaAngelina, you should realise that everybody in the South East of England is incredibly wealthy and don't need cheap stores like Primark

Except for this one on Oxford Street, obviously.

Nice one, Jon, but I think London is a 'special case'. I was referring to the coast & country of Kent, Surrey & Sussex.

Oh and apparently excluding Eastbourne & Margate!
