I tried to post a story in the Reading Room but a message appeared 'extension doc not allowed'
The story is a Microsoft Word Document and I'd like advice on what I have to do/change to get it accepted in the Reading Room.
Any help appreciated.

Word can be a bit of a security risk (and not everyone has it installed) so it isn't allowed to be posted.

You could cut and paste the content of the document into the forum?

FYI I've had absolutely no problem going back and forth with WordPerfect (that is, writing in WordPerfect and copying on to splosh, and vice versa). As Muckster already knows!

you can save word docs as plain text, then its trivial to copy & paste
