Poem: the King, the Queen, and the Maid.

The King was in his Gunging House, sinking where it's runny,
The Queen was in her long black dress, drenched in milk and honey,
The maid was in her uniform, a perfect English rose,
Along came a huge cream pie which splattered on her nose!

Thanks!

Of course, there's always the one we put on the front of the website, which reflects the long history of sploshing at the Hall:

Behold!

The gunge-maidens of Langstonedale Chase
To the pies, to the custard, to the mudflats they race
With fillings down trousers and pourings down dresses
These wild wenches live for the greatests of messes!

Forth! The gunge-maidens!

It's inscribed around the ceiling beams of part of the great hall, though you have to stand in exactly the right spot to be able to read it.
