Decadent Doll - some pics from WR Burlesque Night

Postby DecadentDoll » 03 Jun 2006, 21:42

Hi, thought it was about time I gave a peek of what i've bee getting up to on stage!

not much to go on, but this is a scene featuring me and the fantastic Puck... it was a silent movie sketch where he tried to woo me in the park by buying me pies.... i refuse his advances and the pies get bigger, and he expresses his dissappointment by smooshing me repeatedly.

Lovely.

Ive got some of my stage act of good ship lollipop floating about too.

they arent great shots, but i just wanted to let you all in on it!

The Weimar Republic Revue is hoping to get travelling all over, and I hope to continue getting made a right mess of onstage, hopefully with some audience participation soon!

Fabulous pics, DD!

It is so good that someone is ut there doing this stuff live for a new, non-WAM audience. A young audience too. If we were 30 years younger it's what we'd love to do (or at least Bill would - he has done a lot of pub comedy in his weird past). me I'd just be the boring one who gets roped in for the odd pie, knowing my luck!

Anyway, enough about us. We are seriously impressed. If I'd seen that in a club I'd be talking about it for years!

Glad you like it, we're performing at Belfast Gay Pride this year with any luck ...MASSIVE crowd. Scariness, but I reckon it'll go down ok :)

If you're ever in Belfast i'll get you up for some audience participation, those brave enough to take a pie from DD winning a drink ;) lol

thanks loads for all the encouragement guys

And yes Bill, i think you'd be first in the chair on an audience participation, for sheer sweet revenge *giggles maniacally*

Dougie, i wish we could get to the states. if i knew of about 10 clubs who would host it i'd save up for the road trip, mess across america yee-ha!

And Matthew, do let me know when you show up, as a splosh fan i'll make sure you're right up the front of the stage :D
