Hi all,

We are hopefully moving hosts to a new long term home this week in order to secure the site's future. To do this I will have to make the forum read only for a few days. Hopefully I have done this, but if not please bear in mind that posts over the next couple of days may not make the move!

The URL should be staying the same. Hopefully the move should be seamless and you won't even notice! I will keep you posted here.

Welcome brave traveller and congratulations for finding us here! We have now moved to the Saturation Hall servers (many thanks to them!).

Everything should work as before but I'm bound to have missed something. If so and you can't manage to post here drop me an email at webmaster@sploshuk.co.uk.

You may have noticed the logo has gone and I've put some shonky "design" in place. This will be revisited in due course! Any graphic design help appreciated

The house was last rebuilt in the 1880s by Lady Jasmine's great grandfather, the Seventh Earl of Langstonedale, needless to say like most other great houses we can no longer afford (nor, with modern labour saving devices do we need) the army of servants we once did, so there are plenty of spare rooms, both in the old servants quarters up in the attic, and down below stairs, that are no longer really needed - and who'd look for a state of the art hosting centre in a Jacobethan manor house?

Pleasure to have been involved. Really must find the time to actually start posting here again!

me too - feeling a bit low - did a search and found this. It's like finding an old friend. Will have to sit on a cake to celebrate and then fill my pants with custard!
