lack of posts

Hi,

Just wondered why there seems to be a real lack of postings these days? I realise the download sections have gone due to the rights issues but not many people posts now.

Cheers,

The site is in limbo, whilst those who have taken up the rains, decide if it's something they want to carry on with, of if long term, it's something that will go...

Or at least that's how I read it... Understandable it's a big task, and nobody quite knows where we stand legally. From what I have read.

regards

Andy and the team.

Could be because anyone going to the "old" address gets nothing to tell them things have moved, and I don't recall anything like an e-mail arriving to tell me the site had been reinstated. Surely the forum mods could do a mass e-mail to let people know?

Perhaps also on the front page something that would get picked up by google when people search for any news etc. on "where has splosh gone?", "splosh site dead", "new splosh homepage" etc. etc.

The admins have no control over the original site address. It was taken down on the instruction of Bill's estate administrators. I believe there are various issues to be resolved as yet, including the name and website address for the forum. This is just a temporary holding site that's been set-up while all that is still ongoing, so they probably don't want to publicise it just yet, as it may have to move again.

Has anyone contacted SoVision in regard to obtaining the domain name or requested it on a back-order? If no one has done this yet i would be more than happy to get the domain into my possession and hand it over to the admins of this site. The domain is due to expire in Jan 2015 so now would be the time to get things moving before it's registered for another 2 years by someone else.
I can also help with moving the site from one host to another if the admins need the help.
