Blue Peter

Reading another thread reminded me of my childhood watching Blue Peter.

The scene was the Blue Peter kitchen, John Noaks introduces a guest to make the perfect custard pie!

The guest then explained how pies needed stickability and splatterbility.
He then mixed up some goo and poured it onto a paper plate. He then mixed up some fluffy goo and poured it on top. Then decorated with shaving foam.
"Let's try it" john said, he picked up the pie and smashed it it the guys face. peter then appears and smashes a pie in johns face. peter then says we should close the show before things get out of hand. Valerie then appears and pies peter. The show closes with Valerie clean and untouched,

I wished Valerie had got hit!!!!

Anyone else remember this show? Would be great to see it again!

I certainly do i also they done a similar story a while later with John Noakes, Peter Purves and Lesley Judd ,John pies Peter ,Peter pies John then with Lesley in between them and John and Peter with pies in hand both pie Lesley in a wonderful pie sandwich, oh for a video in those day,s . Ah! i stand corrected peterjones22 ,memory going i think the other guy,s name was Chris Weener or something like that, still it,s a great pic and a couple of great hits ,well done Lesley.
