Hello all,
I've just started exploring the wam on the web and found this awsome forum, I was thinking what the best way to introduce myself was and decided the following...
I've got a nice white wedding dress, with underwear ready to mess up, I've been thinking about doing this outfit for a while but have been struggling for the best idea on how to mess it up! Having found this forum i was hopeing that you guys could decide on how best to mess up this lovely dress... The best/most popular mess will be used and pictures posted... Over too you, its in your capable hands...
Pictures of the dress will be appearing soon when i sort out the pictures malarkey!
Thanks...
New to this forum, want to make an impression...
Lyles black treacle.
Has several advantages. One, it makes a truly spectacular mess, and two, believe it or not it washes out completely, even from white clothes with nothing more than warm water afterwards. Which means you can then treat the dress to something a little more destructive for a second gunging.

I think a good idea would be to re-enact the Sammy-Jane role in the Splosh DVD - Sammy-Jane's Messy Wedding. It would be good if you had a couple of friends to play the Rachel and Jo parts, but otherwise you could mess yourself up with the same ingredients as Sammy-Jane in the film. perhaps you could see how much like Sammy-Jane you can look and post the results here. It would be good fun!

Sounds good, hopefully I've just won some bridal gear to go underneath and the shoes from that bloody ebay!
Black seems to be a common thread now so it looks like that is in... I dont see too many savourys being thrown about on so i think some of those will have to be added into the mix...

By the way custard isn't that good as it tends to go all watery when using it for wamming. It is best to try mixing different things like angel delight and clotted cream in a bowl to get the ultimate gunge that stays messy.andy250 wrote:Loads of custard and natrasol and some paint as well could turn out to be a right mess.

You're clearly using the wrong kind of custard. We use custard all the time and it stays very messy indeed, especially when the girls end up rolling about on the floor in a pool of it. In fact if anything it's not really runny enough as it's tricky to pour down the inside of an outfit without spilling some down the outside, though practice helps here.
I really must experiment with some natrasol, perhaps over the holidays if Lady-J is up for an experimental shoot.

I agree with DM here you are deffo using the wrong brand we use it all the time on all the shoots and its great...... Never failed to make a mess of somebody yet. That reminds me its been a while since Dolly and Cedes and Hayley had the custard exp, ladies to my gunge cupboard for your homework!!!!

Andy
Ready-made custard is fantastic and left on the radiator to get warm even gives experienced models like Gilly a thrill when poured down the knicks - so Bill tells me. Even the warm spaghetti down her pants in her I'm Gilly, Get Me Out of Here film has her cooing like a pigeon! Warmth is everything but custard is fab.

I've been doing a touch of "dungeoneering" of late - built a warming cuboard for the gunge supplies so everything can be well warmed through before use. Basically it's a set of self-assembly wooden shelves arranged with side and end panels and baffles, plus slats removed, so a fan heater placed on the lowest layer blows warm air up through cartons and cans of gunge arranged on the shelves above. We first used it in anger last night, and it worked well.
The models definetly prefer having warm gunge poured into their clothes than freezing cold. And custard left in an unheated dungeon for a few days gets mighty cold, from past experience!
Now I just need some metal buckets, and we can start to warm liquid clay for mud shoots too.

Loving the treacle... looks fantastic, feels great and you are so right DMO it does just wash right out!
Resistance is futile!
