Being a messy CD I play on my own but like the element of surprise (as much as possible) hence playing games of chance. Now this one is not just for CD's as you can change the clothes for something to suit your own gender.
The game is based on the Euro lottery which for those who don't know has you pick five numbers between 1 and 50 and two number between 1 and 11.
I have not yet played this for real but I hope to after Christmas.
On Ebay I have set up the relevant five searches which for me are
Blouse size 16
Skirt size 14
Bra and knickers size 38C
Ladies shoes size 9
Ladies coat size 16
All the searches are set to 'ending soonest' and 'auction only'.
At 9am on a Saturday I download the results from the previous nights lottery. Taking the numbers in the order drawn I start with the first search for blouse. Let us say the first number drawn was a 6 then once the results appear I select the sixth result and place a bid. I always bid 50% higher than the current price.
This is repeated for each number. Then it is a question of waiting. If you don't get any item then repeat that item and number (results will have changed by then) until you get all five items.
If you run out of results then take the last one shown.
The two final numbers pick then mess and location. This can be anything you like but here is my list.
First number
1 - Beans
2 - Custard
3 - Mud
4 - Kids poster paint
5 - Gloss paint
6 - Yoghurt
7 - Cooking oil
8 - Ketchup
9 - Items 1, 3 & 5
10 - Items 2, 4 & 6
11 - Items 7 & 8
Second number
1 - Shower
2 - Bed
3 - Lounge
4 - Kitchen
5 - Garden
6 - Woods
7 - Field
8 - Roadside
9 - Village
10 - Pavement
11 - Car
There are lots of things you can do to vary the risks. Obviously the locations and the mess. You can set your bid lower than 50% and you can set a limit on the amount you are prepared to spend. I set myself a limit and if the item chosen is too high I pick the very next item in the list.
I am sure many of you can think of other variations but I can tell you Saturday morning will be very exciting! And so will the following hours and days as you see your bids accepted and the clothes arrive.
Now I did a trial run and was surprised at what I got or at least would have got had I bid.
The whole lot would have entailed a bid of £30.16 at 50% over current price. The clothes even go together!
For the mess I got custard and the location was in a village which would push my boundaries.
Anyway, let me know if anyone has a go and I will update you when I actually go for real.

It's much easier to play than describe. I have played variations before and the thrill comes on Saturday morning when the numbers reveal your fate and the fate oft he clothes. The main thing is to be comfortable with your risks and then carry them out regardless.
Re: A game of chance
Never before will I watch the lotto results with so much interest! Look forward to the results, maybe a rollover?!!
