I got pointed here from the umd to ask about clay sites.
You know the type of place, like in the videos Chantelle makes, and the light colourd deep thick and creamy.
if anyone knows any near the brighton area? I do drive so can travel I would be very very interested. or even potential sites I could go and look at?
there are some quarries near me so i am going to try them and report back.

I know Mike Nomic is an expert on mud as are Chantelle and her Essex mates but you have to give them more than one night to respond.

If you are looking for that sought of clay. This is produced in quarries. You will need to find a local sand /gravel quarry. As the mud & clay produced is the washings out of the gradings. The 'slurry' flows into silt lagoons as the water dissapears then the mud is left.A word of caution be VERY carefull. You will need to look for the silt lagoons. This mud is very deep, waist deep to about chest. So make sure you can get out .Also clean up look for a clean area of water!!Trepass is another thing to think about if you get caught you will have some explaining to do.Although trespass is a civil law. Some private owners behave like gypies when it comes to trepass.I have helped Mike out with some shoots. Also i repair plant machinery as my job.Hope this helps.I do wish i lived in Essex!!!
Mmm thighboots and mess!!!!!!!
