If its natrasol u have bought u can alta the thickness by just addin less water. If the instructions for the packet say it will make 10 litres of gunge just mix in say 7 or 8 litres of water an see wat its like. You can colour it by just addin in poster paint. Basically the less water, thicker the mix

There is a certain something about that stuff. Are there any Splosh! films that feature it? Can't think of any at the moment??

Natrasol wasn't around at the height of the Splosh! filming days but there is some in the Gilly Silly House films.
Of course it will also feature in forthcoming Splosh! films.

Are you sure thats natrasol, it looks like it could be somthing from Japan or somthing. Can anyone reccomend anything else other than natrasol? Which comes in a powder?

It could be natrasol, though it doesn't look like, I have never managed to make turn like that, even with the clear stuff.

Good luck when mixing remember to use warm water, not to hot that you could not put your finger in to test, as this helps the powder expand, ita a bit trial and error, you'll suss it after a while.

It's not natrasol - natrasol is much smoother, clearer (when uncoloured) and doesn't formed in strands like that does. What we have here is a different product which I understand to be widely used in Japan, where someone discovered a certain bathroom lotion could be mixed into vast quantities of a slimy, messy substance not dissimilar in appearance to semen, spawning (pun not intended) an entire porn/fetish sub genre in the process.
It gets discussed on UMD a lot, and I believe our very own Decadent Doll got sent a bottle to play with and posted some ace pics (though that was coloured, I understand it to be the same stuff), the word I remember being mentioned a lot was something like "methycelulouse", or some similar word that you couldn't fit on a scrabble board.
Here's some shots of us using clear natrosol in one of our shoots.. due to the muck already on us can't make out too much, but you can see what's in the the buckets. I do think natrosol is at it's best when coloured (at which times it is fantastic stuff) - when uncoloured I find it too transparent to be interesting, at least as far as photos are concerned. Sort of like thick water.

Hmmmmm you may well be correct Miss Helen. I have used both Natrasol and Methyllcellulose and have only got something like the picture consistency when using about half the recommended amount of water for the mix, I must admit we never tried to see if we could get the effect in the picture we just poured out of the bucket, same as in your pics.
DD. did post some pics of her in the bath using that powder which if i remember was green, but i do not know if she coloured this herself at the time.
I believe it was given to her to try by a member of this forum at a meet and do remember something about it being Japanese in origin. Perhaps if when DD reads this thread or the member who supplied it does they can cast some further info on it and if its available here or was purchased abroad.
