This is sort of related to WAM in so far that I plan on doing another random messing/destruction video using the roll of a dice. What I need help with is a way to show that the video you see is the first time roll of the dice and I haven't recorded it time and time again until I get the result I want. I did do one for a specific person where he picked a pair of knickers online then I cut these up at the start of the video. This worked but I'm looking for something that anyone can check rather than one specific person picking. I had thought of showing the TV at a specific time but it limits as to when I can shoot the video.
I am sure that the combined brains on this site can solve this but I am looking forward to hearing all the suggestions no matter how radical.

How about a digital clock in the background? Or have a laptop screen visible in the background either showing a live TV feed or an online clock readout?

The classic; display a newspaper showing the date.

Yes, I've thought of those but it only shows the time I am doing something and not that this is the first and only time I have done te deed.

Maybe you should bring in an independent adjudicator or something

Find an sale on ebay which ends when you will do the stunt, show the item ending on screen. People can check the item number themselves to see the end time.

You could add the digits of the sale amount to determine the random number.
