Those that have been around this great site for years will know me as the photographer of Wamchantelle and MessyMercedes along with some other other great girls of WAM including Candy Custard when she first came into this site.It has been a pleasure and great fun over these past 16 years to have been part of this community.
I have seen Chantelle go from a very shy wammer who would not show her face to a well known and loved member of this community and she is still active even today.
My health has got worse over these past several years and late last year Chantelle had to virtually support me out of the mud,i just had no strength left to aid myself, walking even half mile can at times now be exhausting,I am 67 in April and feel now is the time to call it a day with the camera,I still have several shoots to do with Chantelle once the weather improves and hopefully even some with Jessie but after those are completed thats it.
Many thanks to everyone who over the years have liked our shoots and to everyone i have personally met at meets around the country you are all great people.
Many thanks to Derek (Messmaster) who built both our websites
I am not going to vanish,i will still be looking at these forums its in my blood so to speak,Chantelle will still be doing some work for Booted-babes but later in the year with a different photographer

Re: Happy New Year and i'm retiring
Congratulations on your retirement from the world of WAM photography. Your contributions to this community will, I suspect, be missed by many. However your health is way more important than any fetish.
From my point as a registered nurse here in the U.S. I can understand you need to focus on taking care of yourself. Mudlarking is an exhausting endeavor just to enjoy it by yourself but to also having to spend the effort to set up shots etc of others is truly a testament to your own love of this world we play in.
Enjoy the retirement and I'm glad you won't be disappearing from the community, just stepping back.
Thanks dids,
Smittybill

Thanks for everything over the years Dids, take care and don't be a stranger.

Thanks for some great photos over the years. Enjoy your retirement from behind the lens

Re: Happy New Year and i'm retiring
Thanks for all your efforts for our community Dids - here's a little something in return. It's Chantelle as a PhotoMosaic - there's at least one image from every model profile on the UMD in it (I couldn't collate such a set of images from the Splosh forum). For forum practicality I've posted a screen resolution image - if you PM me with an email address I'll email you the original - it's a very big file, suitable for printing out at any size up to lifesize (Say, 4.5 foot by 6 foot!) at 300 DPI.
It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

Here's another screen resolution mosaic, Dids. This time it's Chantelle, made from Chantelle's own images hosted on the UMD. I assume you had a hand in at least some of those sets - and I suspect Mike might enjoy this one too...

Many thanks for your input and output over the years.
Enjoy your last few shoots, and a long and happy retirement.
We'll be delighted to see you at the odd Splunch here and there, now and then.

Dids... Firstly I'd like to say thank you for all of your efforts in helping so many notable models with their modeling careers and making it possible for all of us to share the experience. Secondly, I'd like to reiterate what others have said that it's paramount that you look after your health. But lastly, I'd like to say that I'm sorry that I've not made it across the pond so that we can tip a pint or 5 together and share stories and such.
Do take care of yourself and try not to be a stranger. You ARE admired and revered.

Dids, sorry to hear you're not in the best shape - but you've done a hell of a lot over the years, and I know a lot of people who have loved your work (myself most definitely included!)
All the best with the retirement, glad to hear you'll still be around, and as Mike says there's a few folks would happily buy you a drink or two at a meet some time...

Re: Happy New Year and i'm retiring
Dave (Dirtydids) has produced many memorable shoots.
It is always a great sadness to lose any UK producer.
People do not understand just how difficult and physically demanding some shoots can be.
Your health is most important and you are wise to call it a day!
But you leave the wonderful stamp of your work which I hope gives you huge satisfaction of a job so well done!
