By the time the meet arrives we would of eaten to much turkey and done the auld lang syne and be relieved to have everything back to normal again. So here are the details of the first meet of 2013!

Date: Saturday the 26th of January 2013
Time: 16.00 – Late
Location: Weatherspoons, Milton Keynes

The full address is: Weatherspoon, 201 Midsummer Boulevard, Bouverie Square, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK9 1EA (This can also be seen on google maps)

This is a friendly evening in the pub and a chance to meet with people of similar interests.

To help find the right group quickly look for a selection of holiday broachers on the center of the table along with a greeting card.

There is more than one weatherspoons in Milton Keynes including another on Midsummer Boulevard so please be carful your entering the right pub. The meet is at the top end of Midsummer Boulevard close to the main rail station and is just called Weatherspoons which is located directly next to Chiquito the Mexican restaurant.

The pub serves a very good selection of ales, ciders, wines, beers and spirits. In addition there is also a wide range of soft drinks on offer. Also a great place to eat.

I've bought the tickets today, I'll be there.

Just looked on the travelodge site and saw there is a lot of cheap rooms if your planning on staying over.

Central Milton Kenyes is 36 quid a night, or Church End travelodge just 1 mile away is just 22 quid!

Okay, it's the one week to go warning.

Also a quick note that we might head over to Chiquito Mexican Restaurant after the meet as Maddie has a 20% off voucher. The food there is nice and so are the cocktails!

This is a pretty small meet compared to most but a nice cosey feel and everyone is able to meet everyone and have some good conversation, and drink!

Got this off the umd calender. I think they need a maybe attending thing like they do on fetlife but yeah be nice if you can make it.

Great to see the folks who made it to this one, I think we were lucky the table behind us were mostly deaf though
