Beauty tip!

I saw this today on Yahoo when I switched on my pc :

"Whether you’ve had a hair dye disaster or are experiencing chlorine-induced green tones from spending too much time in the pool, blonde ladies can counteract green shades and rejuvenate their color with the help of tomato ketchup. While it may not be the most appealing hair treatment, the red condiment can neutralize the green in your hair, leading to shiny, golden locks once more. Apply the tomato ketchup to hair and leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse off and shampoo as normal. Read more on realbuzz.com..."

Sploshing vindicated at last! :D

I've known about this for a long time - something to do with the vinegar used in the ketchup! Still stinks something rotten when it's been sat on your head for an hour or so.....lol! Eggs are also a good conditioner for your hair too

Custard is very good for making your hair and skin feel all lovely and moisturised... and apparently Mayo is good for split ends (not that I'd know, my hair's not long enough for them!!)

You already did one Bill....Sammy's stinky shampoo....one of my favourites :D Nothing mentioned here about the moisturising effects of a kilo of marge being rubbed into the hair though

Since Hollywood is awash with sequels and remakes, I am sure we can do it again!

The sub committee of the messy hair section of the Splosh Grope would be extremely please to see any proof of above statement.

Hi Richard

I found the site also and noticed beauty trick number 4

"Dry shampoo has become a staple in many of our beauty bags for those hectic days when we don’t have time to wash and style our hair. However, if you’ve ran out of dry shampoo or fancy a cheaper alternative, the good news is that flour and cornflour (cornstarch) can also help to alleviate greasy roots. To instantly revive and add body to your hair, sprinkle a small amount of flour onto the scalp and work into the roots, then brush through to ensure all excess flour has been removed."

But don't add water - just eggs, butter and a little milk !
