Hi fellow sploshers after having a sort out at home we have found some old camcorder tapes (yes its a few years old) of our home sploshing sessions the trouble is when we put them in an old camcorder to view the tape snapped just wondered if anyone on here could help either with advice or repairing the tape for us.
Would happily pay or send you the video as a reward
Thanks in advance
Rob

Re: help wanted with video tape

I can only suggest if your tapes are the old mini dv tapes or vhsc/ 8mm it may be possible to undo the tape outer and if you go to a camera shop they may be able to offer you the sort of kit used to splice and edit tape or films. Or if you are confident enough to tell them about the content may even be able to repair the tape for you. some even offer a service to copy your films onto dvd's. Apologies I dont have the kit to repair myself but good luck anyway.
Rob ( yes I know another one)

Don't know if it's any help, but there is some info on DIY mending of tapes on http://www.zyra.info/vidmend.htm . (Maybe Googling would give more specific information for camera tapes.)
