I wondered if there was anyone who might want to join me in wading into this pond to see how deep it is ( I am guessing no more than 12 inches). I would alos like to know what you would wear for this exploration.

I can't join, but it definitley looks like an office outfit pond, smart white blouse, above the knee black pencil skirt, stockings/tights and high heels of course

Not sure about the depth there Alan, but I'd get in quick if I were you before it dries up. Formal evening wear of course

Well I set out on Saturday to take a little film at the above location. I set up the camera, changed and was almost ready to venture in when a horse and rider appeared in the next field. It appeared she was planning on stopping so I took my camera down the road to a nearby location with similar muck. Again I set up and watched as a few cars came past but they would have to have stopped to see me. What I hadn't counted on was a tractor which went slower and was much taller. Hence I was seen but not in the muck. I hadn't planned on doing anything more than just walking through as it smelt very strongly. However once in, well, you know how it is.

Hmmm, muck heap run-off - very nice.
