Splosh! Greatest Hits download store has finally made it to the 21st century with the excellent three-schoolgirl pie and food fight from Mucky Puppies. Filmed in 2000, it stars Sarah, Clare & Hazel three genuine school leavers who had always wanted to have a pie fight - so we let them. And they didn't hold back!! Now this surprisingly vicious tit-for-tat battle can be downloaded for the first time at http://www.hits.sploshdownloads.com
Shot on digital so it stands the test of time technically far better than earlier Hi8 movies, the 16 minute film has the two teenage busty school bullies lashing out with real food pies, custard, cream, syrup, rice pudding and buckets of Angel Delight - as sweet Sarah tries to raise money for the "poor little orphans of Outer Mongolia" selling cakes. Pies are slapped hard into faces as these young enthusiastic amateurs really let rip but all three emerge their uniforms sodden with syrup with a smile on their faces (underneath all the pie & custard).
No nudity (these girls weren't models just real people playing about), and with script and gags they largely made up themselves as they went along, it's great fun and a must-see for fans of messy uniforms.
Available in large format (720 x 576) WMV or MP4 format, for instant (no membership required) download, go to http://www.hits.sploshdownloads.com now where you'll also find more stills, details and a brief history of the film.
But please be aware - absolutely no money from the sale of this movie will go to the orphans of Outer Mongolia!

I have this DVD, and this has to be my favourite scene on it... They really do go for it, smacking each other pretty hard with the pies
The acting's pretty cheesy, but they clearly have a lot of fun with their mess, and as you can see from the pics, they do end up utterly covered!
Heartily recommended.

Brilliant. Particularly loved all the frenzied smearing (and there's lots of it!).

Looking forward to more from Mucky Puppies being made available for download - judging by the previews in the titles.
By the way, what's the music at the beginning? Goes well with the action.

There will be more to come from Mucky Puppies in due course.
The opening and closing title music comes from a German company who specialised in mock retro theme and background music CDs, particularly 80s style spy thriller music. They approached us asking if they could use a photo of ours for one of their CDs (the covers and titles often bore little connection with the contents) and we agreed so long as we could use their music in our films. Carole's chocolate bath music from Mucky Puppies (coming later) is one of theirs as are the two splendid spy themes in Gilly's James Bond parody For Your Pies Only (available at www.gillysillyhouse.com/video-vault). The latter will almost certainly get used again!
