Splosh Dating

Just wondering, has anyone used Splosh Dating before?

Not sure how busy or good it is, since I'm having a major sign up problem (namely it only seems to accept heterosexual people, without indicating that anywhere else.) Seems interesting if they can solve that issue... anyone else got in touch with them about this?

Would'nt hold out that much hope on it personally. It seems like an offshoot of another site I tried called Kinky Contacts. You got quite a lot of messages but I never got any replies to any which I replied to, quite a lot came back wioth inactive profile. Suspected that they were generated by the site rather than fromk other contacts.

Also, some of the contacts on the Splosh version were the same as on the main site. One of the boxes you could tick under interests was "fun with food" and I suspect they have just used anyone who put this down and lumped them together on the Splosh section although they might not be sploshers.

Let me know if I'm wrong

There was a guy who tried to set up accounts of Facebook with names similar to mine who had a link to Splosh Dating. I had to get Fb to remove him. I am not saying that he was responsible for the company but it didn't paint them in a very good light for me at least.

DO NOT USE THESE SITES, they are fake.

They are spin off's from adult dating sites where they claim, they are into whatever fetish is under the title. You will find the same people popping under other feitsh's such as tickling, balloon popping, crosss dressing etc.

It a complete fake ploy to get you to join the site.

STAY AWAY............

regards

Andy and the team.

Andy is right....I've seen reference somewhere else (can't remember right now) to problems with the sites from this company. Can't say it's an outright scam, but certainly very misleading, promises a lot and delivers little or nothing, apparently. :(

From what I remember, there are quite a few sites similar to Kinky Contacts, i think MyFunBuddy is one as well, they have all the same layout and almost the same user base. A few years ago I was a member of kinky contacts and I did chat to a couple of women, never made it to actually meeting anyone tho, they usually just disappeared after a while. Tho I do know one woman who is on that site as it is free for women to join and message! (I did create an account as a woman on there a long time back, just to see if it was free.) So there is at least one genuine person there. I occasionally check the site out just to see what new members there are and if they have glove related profile pics. Hehe a sad obsession I know ;)

Yeah, I saw one of these in the past and signed up for the "free" membership. It turned out to be a front end for a... well, for want of a better word, "conventional" hook-ups website, where you then have to pay to actually contact your matches. Even if they're not pretending to be Bill, it's still a scam.

The best one so far has been the London meet up itself, i met my current play partner at the last one in november.

There are plenty of ways to meet sploshers without using expensive 'dating' sites. The meets in all parts of the country are good social occasions and can lead to finding friends and partners. Conventional fetish munches can be fun and friendly (the St Leonards one is) and sploshing is recognised at all the ones I've been to. And sites such as Fetlife which is more geared up to meeting likeminded people rather than just being a forum can be good too.

Whether or not Splosh Dating is a scam, the concept of profiteering from people's loneliness is pretty tacky in my view so I recommend trying the increasing number of free ways to meet people first.

think we'll have to pop down to the St Leonards one,
one of the things mentioned was a more regular london meet, even if its a guarunteed three or four people you might get more people attending as when there are just a couple a year its easyier to miss the years meets entirly

Hi Messy Laura

Once upon a time, we used to have on average 3 London Meets a year. These did draw in numbers because that was the only meet going on at the time.

I am really pleased we have meets like Bristol, Warrington, Milton Keynes, St Leonards and Birmingham and any others that pop up. As a result easy_as and myself have decided to reduce the amount of London meets to once a year.

Now things are most established i can't see no harm if you want to set up a alternative London meet, you were talking about something near the river Thames before?. But i would like to host and continue to keep November meet the same each year in Holborn.

Back to the topic point, free meets are the best place to start if you are wanting to get involved and make new friends.

St Leonards is a monthly general fetish munch not a Splosh! meet. I am just pointing this out in case people come expecting it to be 'splosh-only". I don't organise it but am very good friends with the couple who do and we have done a bit of sploshing there (they are always asking for more!). Would be delighted if the sploshers took it over for a night. Perhaps that could be arranged in the summer when the seaside is more inviting!

Personally I think there should be as many meets as possible, organised by whoever wants to do one!
