Hey all

New here - watching the celebrity jungle (sad i know) has reminded me of always wanting to be on funhouse when I was a child! Im curious to find out about what messy game shows may be in existence still or maybe could be created for fun! If anyone has similar interests please feel free to drop me a message - i love to chat!

Bye for now

I'm a Celebrity that's not a gameshow - it's manure in televisual form! It was gameshows like Funhouse and Get Your Own Back that got me into WAM in the first place. I don't know of any messy gameshows in that leave being aired on TV at the minute however plenty of producers such as myself have been heavily influenced by them. With www.messymayhem.com I tried to create a slightly more adult lower budget version of what I was watching as a kid. It's not just me though just off the top of my head Gungegirls, Glamour Gunge, Messy Jessie and Gunge Tank Girls have all included elements of gameshows in their videos.

Sorry should have been clearer lol! I didnt mean it was a gameshow - i meant seeing Pat Sharp and remembering back to Funhouse as you mention!!
I used to love that show!

Id defently be interesed in taking part in games (either self created or TV show however unlikely that is lol!!)

Feel free to message me

the generation game had some pretty epic moments, i don't get to watch alot of tv these days just catch up on iplayers of some favs,
ecgunge has a decent following of splosh on tv check out thier vid section

splosh in tv gameshows should be more popular than it is, the messy 'penalty or forfit' has a good 'oh no' factor.

They're repaeting Fun House on Challenge (it's on freeview except in the South East...) and rarely a week goes by without a "they should bring Fun House back for grown-ups" tweet being retweeted by Pat! (and they're not from me!) The good thing ofshows like this and doublke dare and run the risk popping up on youtube is that it gives the producers some nice inspiration for games, although no one has the space of a TV studio...Still, it'd be nice to see some of the silliness of those games return to our screens!

Top Gunge is the closest thing we have to an adult take on shows like that. It only stars women though, so I imagine it's a little less appealing to female wammers.

It used to be my dream as a kid to get onto Fun House. I remember talking to a friend at one point about how much better it would be if you could choose a massive gunging in place of the regular prizes. :D
