I'm having problems...msn is half signing in but not letting me speak because of people IM'ing me instantly.
Please, please, give me a while first.
God this sounds egotistical, i just want the PC to stop freezing and for MSN to work!
So please.... stop it, for a moment. I'll change my screen name to "DD-Everythings OK" whenever its working.
Ta, DD

Dolly - you can set MSN to always log you in invisible (show as offline) which will let it get connected and stable.
You can also see who's on, before you show yourself - and if you use the latest version chat whle offline! Which should help cut down on the thousand 'Hey DD' messages you get whenever you show up
Hope this helps,
Henry

Heheh it isnt quite 1000, but it can be daunting!
I tend to stay off messengers more and more these days.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I do it the Henry way too but the snag is that if we all do that then the whole thing just stops functioning as nobody ever appears to be online. It's a tricky choice. I tend to 'go public' when I actually know I'm going to have a little time available for multiple chatting (which isn't often). Sometimes, I'll appear visible to just one or two people that I need to talk to in the hope that they're there doing the same but it does become terribly hit and miss. I usually only use Yahoo Messenger for most people these days. MSN went pretty crap a while back, IMHO. Not sure whether it's improved again now but it was way behind on features a year or two ago.
