Advice for being gunged by someone off camera

So I've finally managed to get my partner to agree to mess me up on camera, however due to the type of job she holds, she's adamant she doesn't want to appear on screen herself.

Fair enough, but I've been racking my brains to try and come up with ways she can get me messy while either off camera or behind the camera, but it's going to be pretty awkward I think.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, or anything they do in this situation?

Could she use a stepladder or wear a mask?

A stepladder might be an idea, but she won't go with a mask-she doesn't want to appear oncamera at all.

I'm experimenting with camera zoom and placement, but I'm not having a lot of luck.

Surely you just keep the shot really tight on you and she pours etc from one side out of shot. We do that all the time.

She can always throw stuff at you from an off camera angle. She could also tell you what to do, though that all depends on
if she is ok with her voice being on footage.
