Warrington piece (the post-meet up thread)

Just got back from my transpennine trek over to Warrington, great to meet you all! There was a fella early on who was looking around with a map in his hand, but on passing me and Andy sat at a table with our Morecambe OS map prominently displayed he carried on by and left, so either a) he was looking for someone else, b) he was looking for the meet but on seeing the two of us gave it up as a bad idea, or c) he completely failed to notice our map on the table (we didn't feel it appropriate to speak up at that point in case of a) ).
Soon after though Claymore and DD arrived, followed by a few others who I'll leave to Clay to list, because I'll only get it wrong if I attempt to remember their screennames. A drunk guy came over to the table late on in the proceedings and wouldn't go away, when Jonny had settled down (sorry, Jonny, couldn't resist!
) another guy came to bum a light and started spouting drunken religious crap at us until we finally managed to persuade him to naff off.
In all we had seven folks in attendance (not counting the drunk or the mystery man), had a lovely natter and a fine time was had by all. The meet was definitely a big success, laying the ground for what will hopefully be more meets in 2007 and it was terrific to be able to put faces to names. Many thanks to Clay for organising this, and to everyone who showed up - look forward to seeing you again soon!
