SPLOSH!'s MAGAZINE CLEAR-OUT ENDS NEXT WEEK!

Postby BillShipton » 12 Sep 2011, 15:26

We are genuinely clearing our storeroom and massively cutting down on the number of back issues we have there, so for a LIMITED TIME ONLY are offering SPLOSH! magazines for JUST £2 EACH - INCLUDING UK POSTAGE! That's practically just the cost of the postage alone for the newer thicker ones! And a whopping 75% off the normal list price!

Choose from any back issue starting at No 12 all the way up to No 40 (excluding No 15 and No 25). No damaged ones will be sent (though some might be slightly grubby). To see what they contain go to http://www.sploshshop.co.uk/nu_main/magazines_books.htm but DON'T order from there unless you want to pay full price.

Pay by cash, UK postal order or UK cheque (payable to Splosh!), but NOT by credit card, sent to our usual address

Splosh!
PO Box 70
St Leonards on Sea
East Sussex
TN38 1PX
UK

Orders from outside the UK are just €5 or $5 per magazine including postage. We happily accept Euro or Dollar cash (not that we ever receive any!) and we are able to arrange payment through Alertpay or similiar though we may charge slightly more to cover their costs (email me at bill@splosh.co.uk if you really want to pay that way). NO FOREIGN CURRENCY CHEQUES, POSTAL OR MONEY ORDERS, please.

This offer genuinely can't last so send off right away!!

Argh! I paid full price for nearly all of those. I once owned Splosh! from #5 or #6 ... all the way up to the late #30s (with a few random gaps).

To any newer, younger WAMmers out there, I very much recommend Splosh! magazine. It's a great read.

*sigh* I'm just remembering those days when Splosh! was pretty much my ONLY source of messy fun. Discovering Splosh! changed my life considerably. It was a massive epiphany, realizing there were other people like me. Many, many more people like me!

Buy em!

Just sent my order off in the post (but I saw the Royal Mail van drive off just as I got to the post box) so hopefully it will arrive in a few days

I had to search Google to find out how to fill in a cheque though

I know how you feel, Pacman. You can pay by Hayley's Alertpay account (account name hayley@splosh.co.uk) if you choose though we charge 10% extra for foreign currency payments that way and ask you to cover their fees for credit cards.

I have to say queueing up in the post office every day with a bag full of packets destined for everywhere from Northampton to New Zealand (via Norway) has been a nostalgia trip for me too. Response to this offer has been very good, so many thanks everyone! Though I would just say for my own sense of pride, the offer does NOT mean we are not selling the magazine any more after this. It will be back at a price somewhere between the offer price and the original as soon as our credit card billing problem is sorted (which is progressing I am glad to say).

Reading the mag is a nostalgic tour de force as well!

Your order arrived fine, AWOL, though the vast majority have paid by cheque and a few by Alertpay.

Hey Bill,

I tried to PM you but it states that you do not exist!!!!

Anyhow, I would love to take you up on your fantastic offer...I will need to pay with Alertpay, where would be the best place to tell you what mags I would like? Should I try and PM you again or just tell you in the details section of the Alertpay website?

Also, how are the mags being packaged? Is the postie likely to know I have just ordered twenty splosh mags??

Cheers,

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner but I have been in the storeroom sorting out mags to keep and ones to pump. Must have personally shifted over a ton of mags in the last couple of days - not that I am asking for sympathy!

Alertpay is good. Use the hayley@splosh.co.uk account. You can email me the mags you want at bill@splosh.co.uk that's what most have done. Of course we label all parcels CONTAINS VAST QUANTITIES OF CUSTARD COVERED GIRLIES. Seriously it comes in plain dark, grey, pale grey or brown wrapper depending on the size of the order.
