Lovely photo, makes us want to get our wellies on. Have you tried putting on a smart suit and wellies and walking down a muddy river bank into a river until the water and mud spill over the top. Great feeling especially if you get stuck, you can fall in as Custard can testify.

Muddy boots and rainwear - definitely one of our favourite scenes!
Why don't both of you come and join us on a very, very muddy walk sometime soon?

Forgive my ignorance but why are Hunter considered so much better (and therefore much more expensive) than other rubber wellies?

I have several pairs of Hunters - one must colour coordinate, you know!
There are well made (though, since production was moved to China, quality is bit compromised) and they are fitted.
So you can comfortably go on long walks, unlike normal gardening or farming wellies.

Sounds like if we really want to join the welly set we need to buy some Hunter wellies then and dig out a white shirt and white dress for our next walk.

Definatly love getting messy in rainwear . My girlfriend has some gloss black hunters and we love getting muddy and wet in rainwear . Usually along the coast ,in storms ect . Also you can't beat filling the inside of a pvc backed nylon raincoat with custard .. lol
