Hi!

I thought I'd update everyone about my website news! Theres a bit of a story but bear with me!!!

As you may or may not know wamprincess.com is now live and open for business. I had actually planned to open the site in a few weeks from now but what happened was this: My web designedrhad a version of the site live on the web. Someone (I think through UMD) found it and joined up. Great!... except the payment options hadn't been put in place and they got all the stuff for free! Now as everyone knows I don't mind sending out free stuff (in fact I make a habit of it) but the whole website content!!!? A bit much! They must have told someone else who told someone else etc and before I knew it I had quite a few members....but no subcriptions! I was faced with a choice of closing down the site and starting again in a few weeks or just biting the bullet and promoting it from that point. This was ultimately what I decided to do but becuase things weren't working in my planned timescales I had to start getting subcriptions quickly (hence my multiple posts on UMD and my absence from Splosh! lately).

Fortunatley things have worked out well. The site has got off to a roaring start and subcriptions are high. I mention this not because I want to talk about money but because to put it simply the better it does the more new material I can afford to make! Theres been a couple of hitches with pictures not running in consecutive order in some of the galleries and the size of the pictures but this is all in the process of being fixed!

I am a bit upset that i didn't get to launch the site my own way as I'd planned to announce it here first but unfortunatley events took over.

Anyway, I'm going to be in touch with Bill soon and sort out links to and from each others sites etc. Hopefully you'll be seeing more of me on Gillys House too although thats up to the big man and the lady herself. I do very much want to return though and don't think its naive to hope that I can run my own site but still work with Gilly and Bill too.

Glad your site's popular Clare, and you've recovered from your unexpected 'start' - however your webmaster must surely have known that making unprotected content available to all on the web is tantamount to giving it away. Anyways, here's to the future - and more material from you, this time profitable!

I myself haven't got the patience to run my own site... I'd rather just do splosh and gilly's, plus, the more places i am... the material becomes diluted... why would someone pay a subscription when they already have one to gilly's site, etc etc.

Maybe im the naive one though!

Trying to imagine you becoming diluted, DD: One part DD to ten parts custard - sounds about right.....

Just cant imagine DD becoming "Diluted" at all. Spread yourself about , you will always be welcome if you want to join up with Mercedes at any time for a shoot That would be wicked.

I'd love to come to Essex for a bit of mudlarking with Cedes anytime!

Visited the website Clare and it looks great. Can't afford the pennies at the moment but I might just ask Frilly for a subscription for Christmas. Good luck with it all.

Now that would be a treat.

I don't think either me or my material are in danger of becoming diluted anytime soon! and I think there's enough room in this community for me, Splosh, Gilly and all the other sites to exist together. It just so happens I'd like to keep the friendships I've made already and I don't reckon a few appearances on the Silly House and Splosh! from time to time will dilute/damage (whatever you want to call it either "brand" (yuk, I've gone all AOLtime warner pepsi cola corp speak!) too much. Strength in unity say I!

Ahh don't mind me, I meant *me* , not you. I know I've got books full of messy skit ideas in me yet, as well as the live stage shows I do across the UK that involve mess I just meant I wouldn't do my own site, cos i personally think there are too many out there. (for me to afford subs to anyway!)

It's all good, i simply meant I wouldn't do a website.

Yeah, a session together would be very cool. We'll have to get it sorted with Bill
