Posted: 14 Oct 2006, 00:12The Germans seem quite keen on these sort of shows. Back in the good old days of analogue satellite viewing, I used to watch stations like Sat 1, Vox and RTL. There was a show called Man-O-Man where most of the participants ended up in a swimming pool in the studio. I think they tried it on British TV but it wasn't as good as the German version and it didn't last.
Posted: 14 Oct 2006, 01:45The British version was bloody awful (hosted by Chris Tarrant) with mainly men winding up in the pool and the usual cut away once anyone fell in.

Posted: 14 Oct 2006, 12:50Some of those German shows were great for messy stuff. Always remember one that featured a naked couple on a huge foam burger bun frollicking about as various kinds of relish and stuff was poured over them!
