Hello all

I've been dying to get to a meet these past couple of years but due to various probs have only managed it once - and few people had said to me it was time there was a midlands meet.. so here it is!


This will be a very much 'vanilla' meet (a splunch, for anyone who doesn't know is just a bunch of sploshers meeting up for lunch/drinks or just a chat!)

Please note the time of the meet has had to change to 1pm instead of midday

Nearest train station is Leicester, nearest airport is East Midlands


Leicester boasts many hotels and should anyone require one, I recommend laterooms.com for searches and bookings.


Any questions feel free to contact either myself or Nastygunge and we will do our best to help.


If anyone wants walking directions from the train station feel free to PM me, though with google maps and streetview, it shouldn't be difficult to work out it is a short taxi ride away if that's your preferred option though £4 at the very most.

I will add more info as time goes along, with a pic of something I will put on the table to recognise the group by, haven't decided what yet!

What a fab idea hun, I will hopefully be able to make it for the last couple of hours, depending what time I come away from seeing the kids.

Hahhaaa excellent, be great to see you there babes. I thought I may put a pic of myself as the recogniseable thing, but as I'm likely to sneak out for cigarettes there had better be something else there too

Can highly recommend an afternoon in the pub with Candy. Have done it several times at London and Bristol.

Wether I can make it or not, its too early to say. As I'm booked the previous weekend for shoots and live shows. I did have a video, though I think
I've got rid of it now, where myself and Candy where discussing Jammed looking at her boobs during a shoot. We shot this discussion in the high street
of Bristol with the public walking by, turned a few heads I can tell you.

What a silly day that was.

i would love to, but at work that day, but trying to swap a day off but not much luck at the moment

I would love to come but currently both my elderly parents are not well (both have cancer to varying degrees) so I am permanently 'on call'. Will just have to drag you down here later on, Candy.

So far about 7 definates and a dozen maybes, anyone else?

I'm not far from Leicester, and would love to have come, but unfortunately am away that weekend for a family event which has been fixed for some months.

(Bill - sorry to hear of your parents' problems....I was one of those "on call" for an ill relative for about three years, so can sympathise. It didn't stop us doing things, but we had to remember every time to liase with the others if we we thinking of being away for more that 24 hours.)
