Thanks Bill for adding the clip.
Is it possible, in this thread or a more technical part of this forum, to let me know how to post Youtube, Metacafe, etc clips. Step by step and click by click instructions would be very helpful. It would save you having to do it on my ignorant behalf and I could post more clips without any problems. Any help appreciated.

I wonder if its for timing purposes? The slap up the bum could be the cue for the stooge to bend her knees and sit in the wheelbarrow without having it bash painfully into the back of her legs

You mean more like this (see below), Julie. Trust Jane Deane and Co to get it right.
Falling backwards into wheelbarrows or big vats of mess is not as easy as it looks. We have done it a couple of times with Gilly and Sam and you need to be confident that the thing you are falling into is in the right place without looking round. In the world of one take (which we inhabit) the prospect of getting it wrong and spilling the lot on the floor (not to mention any bruises sustained by the girls) is horrendous.
Our old friend Danny Adams falls backwards into baths and tubs a lot in their slosh routnes and it is interesting to see that he holds the sides before he falls but does so in such a way it still looks natural and doesn't slow up the gag. Sadly I can't upload this as I don't have a DVD ripper.
Want to incorporate more 'falling over' stuff in our routines but need to find models who are brave enough to do it!!
