From Sarah Jane, Pie Cones
The pies were great, yes there was a lemon tinge/taste. They were perhaps on par with the American cool whip.
The pics on the web flicker are great, they were rubbed in slowly and very nicely received by little old me , trying to get Kinkatpinxs to give me a set for my web pages.
Well up for advert for your pies.
Sarah Jane. x

I certainly did :)

Sarah, there's a typo in your link, the website is www.kinxatpinx.com and should work fine now.
I'll mail over the photos of you.

By the way, does anyone know who the chap in the suit was? I have some photos of him that I couldn't use on the website (as his face was visible). I'd be happy to mail them over to him if someone could point me in his direction, or ask him to drop a line to us through our website contact form please.

"Custard" pie recipe. Serves 8.

You will need:-
1 can of shaving foam
1 bucket
10-20 grams of gunge powder (available from www.thegungeshop.com)
Warm water

Mix 1 pint on warm water with the 10 grams of gunge powder. Stir every 5 minutes for 20 minutes until the gunge no longer sinks to the bottom. Add more water/gunge powder to thin/thicken as required.
Place the gunge in the bucket, then add 1 can of shaving foam
Fold the shaving foam into the gunge until it's all mixed in. The foam will now have a much heavier consistancy.
Spoon onto plates and serve!

I can't claim credit for the recipe, it came from dunktankbabes. Highly recommended :)

The pies are worth trying, we did a few shoots with them with great results. We used yellow gunge rather than the white

I can vouch for the Pies consistancy.
Red food dye of course will make them yellow, but that may stain your clothes.
Regards Sarah.

The yellow shouldn`t stain the clothes, we use a child friendly powder paint so should be fine. You could use any colour of gunge that we supply to get your coloured pies.
