It's definitely less daunting with Molasses than actual tar, but it's bloody good fun for those wanting to give it a go

I wouldn't say that CustardPie...I think you'll find a few sploshers into it As alext says, molasses and feathers is more a sploshers kind of tar and feathering but you could also use black grease (margarine mixed with black paint) as a more authentic kind of tarring. Reminds me of a crazygirls session many years ago

I have tried the molasses and feathers and it is very sticky but easy to wash off in shower. I would like to try the black grease(margerine and black paint) but what type of black paint should I use that will wash off fairly easily?

I'd imagine you could use kids' fingerpaint or poster paint. It's designed to wash off of kids without staining skin after all...

Yeah black poster paint would be fine although I've also used ordinary black household emulsion which also washed out fine. Just don't get it on the carpet..

Hi Folks,

I decided to try out Squelch's Black Grease. I mixed 500g of margarine with 100ml of black poster paint as I wanted to check that this mix would wash from skin and hair before covering my head. I tested this small amount on a normally hidden part of my body (tummy cock and balls) and the results were great. The "grease" felt and looked like real grease and it washed off okay with plenty of soap and shampoo.
I attach a couple of pictures of this trial and now intend to make up about ten times this amount and do a total head to toe coverage including feathers, what do you think?

A quick tip: washing up liquid is quite good for removing margarine and such - it's designed to remove grease from the dishes else.

I went for the total coverage but decided against the feathers as I was worried they may block the shower drain.

Where are all the amateur sploshers out there? Nearly all the recent photoshoots are commercial and although they are excellent I enjoy seeing crazy amateurs like myself giving it a try.

I only wish I could meet up with someone or a group to particpate in a really messy sesssion.

I live within a 100 mile radius of Carlisle.

I attach 3 photos of the end result and look forward to comments.

I am still around, in spirit anyway, and I have recently done a couple of sessions with molasses with good results, also plenty of clothes cutting and ripping as well.
Just need to get the pictures sorted and posted.

Well done with your pics by the way. Do you find sploshing and trying to take pictures difficult, or is it only me?
