I saw this highly educational video on fluid dynamics today and thought people here might like it too.

Thank you very much for posting this very scientific video for all of us to learn from. I would now like to see the same experiment carried out with a non-Newtonian substance (I propose custard).

Why weren't my classes in advanced physics like that? I might even have passed the exam!

Bad choice... Custard is a dilatant fluid, i.e. thickens with stress, so might simply bounce off. What is required here is the opposite of custard, a substance with shear thinning properties.

That's right, what we need here is Ketchup.

Geek note: I remembered that ketchup is the physics opposite of custard, but in looking up the terms I was impressed by the smorgasbord of wam substances that are non newtonian.
