Messy gaming

Hi All,

I was doing a bit of surfing the other day, and was looking at some gaming sites. I found that there is a game out for the PS3 called' Buzz! Quiz world'

This is quiz game, in which you answer questions on various topics, music , films, science etc. Either against the computer (single player), or with friends (multiplayer), I think you can also play over a network.

Now here's the cool part, the game is split into different rounds, and from what I read, (and a couple of screen shots + a short video ) there is a round in which everyone is sat on a chair above a huge vat of gunge, like GYOB. Loser falls in :D . There is also another round where you throw custard pies at each other, loser is the first covered in custard/cream.

Sounds like some sploshers on the Sony Game Development team to me. :D

Also sounds like a perfect reason to buy a PS3.

Posted the original post eariler in the year (2010), however there is soon a new Buzz game comeing out , called : Buzz! Ultimate Music Quiz, it's for the PS3 and PSP. The PS3 version has movement style rounds using the funny controler that looks like a cross between a ice cream and a dildo.

Any way as stated in the original post, the gunge and pie rounds are still included. I found a You Tube video that just shows these rounds. Enjoy.

Oh yeah, Happy Festive Holidays to everyone, and wishing you all a Sploshingly (is that a word???) New Year, 2011.

Great find . . . I would hope that people play these quizzes and mess each other for real !

How many other video games include WAM style scenes ?

Yes it can be a word, an adverb, but you will need to put an adjective after it such as ' good ' or ' marvellous ' !!!!!

:-D My pet pedant couldn't resist, sorry !

Who ate all the pies ? What a waste of pie !
