I've been asked to talk about splosh play on this morning!!!

I couldn't beleive my eyes this when I checked my e-mails today and found one from the This morning program asking me to go on there this Friday and talk about sploshing!!

It seems they've found my website and liked my sploshing pics.

I want to do it but I really can't I don't think as first off I'm a TV and my family don't know me as Nina and also I'm sure i'd upset you guys by say the wrong things.

What do I do?

Firstly decide if you are happy to appear as Nina if your not then no point in going. Secondly be aware how many people may see you
on day time tv, you have to be happy doing it otherwise dont go. Make sure the producers are aware that you are tv. I'd also pm Bill for some advice on television programs, and how they can make you look.

On a personal note, I'm not sure if would actually do live tv, even though I produce etc. As I would not be able to control the outcome.

I have just replied to the e-mail telling them I am a TV but the e-mailed said the guy had seem my website already so hopefully he's read where it say's I'm a TV on there but you're right thought I'd better make sure they knew. I also said I'd have to be Nina and would rather take part in a demo than talk about sploshing. Maybe Holly could push a pie in my face or me push one in hers(ok wishful thinking but you never know)

I normlly look good on film but then I'd open up my gob and put my foot in it I'm sure as I'd be pretty nervous and thinking someone who doesn't know me as Nina will see me.

So much as I'd like to do it I probably won't because of all the drawbacks involved. What if people start calling me sick or pervert when I'm out not dressed after the program?

I should imagine, they will go through the questions and the scene etc, before hand as its live. So you would most likely get told what to do.
The decision you have to make is if you are happy appearing on national tv as Nina, now having worked with Wamdrogony for 2yrs. I know how it can be some people didn't mind when we where shooting. Other people where down right rude. Though it has to be expected as tv's cd's tg's are still not accepted in mainsteam society.

I think the TV company have trawled lots of people in the hope that somebody will appear. In your case you have two issues - the sploshing and the cross dressing. It's a big step to appear on TV at the best of times, to admit to both would be quite tough I'd imagine. So nobody woud think any less of you if you declined.

Sadly there is no chance of Holly pieing you as Holly doesn't do Friday's show! Yes, I'm gutted too!!

I'll be honest Nina I did wonder if thats why they approached you over the weekend, as you do look like Billie. With the recent
events on tv, with some help from Bill. It would fit into place.

Nina, has a producer told you what the show wanted from you?

If so, do you think he or she is being truthful?

Are you experienced in TV or radio? What might you do if the presenter changes the subject (not unheard of)?

Might they exploit you because you are a TV?

You have so many reservations about going on it might be smart to avoid the situation.
