Hi

Caught some of Splosh-a-Rama's live shows on Youtube and they look a lot of fun. They are based at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in Kennington, South London and the next is on 19th Feb starting at 10.30pm and going on till 3am. Entry is £7, £5 with a flyer and apparently only £3 via Facebook. Bill and I are even thinking of going (maybe as Z list celebs - see below).

I'd love to BE ON STAGE for that! Always a big fantasy of mine, being sploshed in front of an audience! (Preferably helpless, maybe lightly restrained, pehaps?)

I've send that guy Stu an e-mail telling him I want to come and watch the show.
Regretfully, I can't make it in February. The next show is going to be in April, he answered. I'm trying to go to that one.

got back from the slosharama night, being a work night i missed the first half and caught the second half, the reverse sploshing where stu gets dressed in some custard soaked clothes, after that he made a human triffle, a guy dressed in just underpants was sat in a paddling pool and covered in a mismatch of triffle ingredients, the usual custard and chocolate was there and non wam regulars such as tossed salad and mushrooms??
after that the audiance was allowed to come up and play, as it was literally freezing outside cold i passed up this offer, but there is an oppertunity to get messy at these events
the first half had a contest of some kind, a couple of people i met during the night had the remnents of a custard residue over them, dried and sticky
speaking to a soggy stu after, there is very limited cleaning facilities, just a sink, no shower etc so they use ponchoes for the contestants but you can wave the right lol

the next is in aprill
the pub/club itself is not the biggest, it has a thumping sound track of classic remixis that can keep you motivated and dancing
lighting is standard darkish night club / late night pub with a plesent clientel, a stage big screen was showing various slapstick and other regular splosh clips

next time i'll try and get there earlier to catch both shows or what ever sloshertainment is on
hopefully the wather wont be freezing outside next time

Thanks for the report. We will try and make one. After years in a biker pub it will make a change to be the least camp person in a venue!
