Wow I'd never heard of that before! Looking at the Vauxhall Tavern's website, it doesn't look like there are any planned for the foreseeable future, so it may have been a limited run. Shame really, could have been a good meet up!

I played the Vauxhall Tavern once!

It is a famous gay venue, mainly known for drag acts etc (Paul O Grady did Lilly Savage there in his early days). I had a pub theatre company back in the mid 80s and we did a night there to average acclaim.

I am not surprised they gave sploshing a go - it is a wonderfully outrageous place.

I read it as they do it every month on the 3rd Friday.
Given the name I'd have thought they would have Bill and Hayley as VIP guests......
