A delicate question on personal hygiene!

My girlfriend and I have done a couple of sploshing sessions now, but we haven't yet fulfilled my ultimate sploshing fantasy - to cover her ladyparts (sorry, didn't want to offend!) with chocolate cake and various other gooey stuff, and then have a good old shag. We're both a bit worried about the hygiene side of this. Can anyone say from experience if this is likely to result in any kind of infection, and if so what we can do to cut the risk? Just to hopefully reassure you on this one. My lady friend and I constantly use food in these sort of areas. She has had lots of different substances 'up' her and our lovemaking usually involves food. Hell I have even eaten my tea out of her! We have never had a problem. Its fun making sure we are clean in the shower afterwards!

Twirls, Mars bars. Choc Ices.
Trifle, plenty of custard (once poured in via a funnel!)
Now the funnel begin I shouted! Choc gateau. Beans, spaghetti.

She's probably worried about a yeast infection. Lots of sugar up the ol' vag can give you this,

But its nothing to worry about. You're going to need to clean up there *really* well as if you're having sex in the goo, then you're going to be forcing it up there. But I guess you're not going to be doing it for hours, so its not going to be up there too long. Probably having a bath afterwards is going to make sure she can clean it all out properly.

I also think some of us are more susceptible to yeast infections than others. For example, I've been very messy at times and for long periods of time, and never had a problem. So you really won't know until you try. Maybe try a little at a time, and clean right away in a shower and bath afterwards. And then take it to a slightly higher level of mess gradually. One thing I'm against, and this is purely personal. I don't douche with anything other than water. I know that some women use soap and water or vinegar or over the counter remedies. I've read that doing that removes the body's natural bacteria culture used to fight off infection. And since I've never had a problem with intercourse even in very messy substances (and I mean REALLY deep mess such like some of the full submersion videos you see on the Messygirl site, although I will never do it in outdoor mud, despite how much I fantasize about it, out of fear of scratching the vaginal walls with sediment in the mud), I guess I've been following the right procedure. At least for me.
